Why are these morons releasing pics? They're clearly not in the oval office. The square table in the forefront is obviously not the Resolute Desk.
This has got to be the dumbest clique of libtards I've ever seen. Bernie the communist is the icing on the cake sitting the back row leaning over like he's going to fall on his face. Geezuz somebody get him some mittens
I think you have a very keen eye. The corners of the desk in the picture seem purposefully hidden, probably because they are not curved. The picture is taken in such a way that we can see the inlay on the top of the desk. The corners are covered, and you can't see the intricate design of the desk.
The thing is-- the Oval office is full of beautiful antique pieces and each one has a story. The Resolute Desk is one of my favorites (I'm a history nerd) EVERY President sits at the Resolute. EVERY President conducts meetings from it. There are literally pics of EVERY President at the Resolute since receiving it in 1880. The fact that these two idiots are sitting in front of a fake fireplace for every pic is very telling.
Fun Fact: Rutherford B. Hayes was the receiver of the Resolute Desk from the Queen of England. He was Deep State. He did not win the election of 1876, it was rigged by a handful of carpetbagging republican governors in southern states. When the disputed election went to congress to decide--"The Great Compromise of 1877" was reached wherein the Southern states agreed to allow Hayes to remain President on the condition that Reconstruction end immediately and all federal troops be removed from occupying southern soil and all confederate soldiers would receive their pensions.
The union had intended not to pay the pensions and to occupy the south until 1900.
Johnson, Nixon, Ford and GWH Bush did not use the Resolute Desk.
You're right-- thank you. I had forgotten. I think they're still looking for the C&O Desk that #41 used. I believe he took it with him.
