I don't think the helicopter has it's transmitter on when it flies, would be interesting to know if they actually used the Marine 1 call sign or not.

yeah... dont know about that either, just always considered it Marine 1 when it was at the White House.

I believe they can only use AF1 and Marine 1 when the actual POTUS is on board. Heck of a show we're watching.
