Not sure if you're a praying person, I'mvery new to it myself. Went prostrate before the lord a couple days ago.

Thank you for your prayer. I've been in and out of church my whole life. Baptized catholic (dad's side) and Lutheran (mom's side) when I was a baby. We were a special occasion church family and didn't attend much. In my early teens I was friends with a pastors son at a different church. Went twice a week with them. Later in life I joined a Baptist church, got married there and left when they fired the pastor for not wearing a tie one Sunday. When I saw how he was treated over a Tie, I swore off going to church.

I still have the faith, still read from the bible from time to time. But I am stick of everything (including the church) being political.

All that matters to me is FAITH. Faith in the lord, not the church!!!

You have the Faith!!! You said a pray for a stranger even when they did something stupid.

I agree about the church thing. Just look at the Vatican...evil people. Church does not always equal faith.
