What was going on during that timeframe when he had an “accident” and needed to wear the boot? Did his “handlers” need to keep him away from something or use the “accident” as an excuse to prevent him him from going somewhere or being somewhere? He was already giving pep talks and “rally’s” from the basement during that timeframe. I don’t think there were debates going on. The Hunter fiasco was brewing, maybe they needed “Uncle Joe” to look more humane, fatherly, fragile for his outward appearance? I’ll have to look back and see what was going on during that time.
