How does a facelift magically cause the skin of your face and the skin of your earlobe to connect, and also how does a facelift dramatically change the shape of your ear's cartilage?

Sometimes the earlobe is used as an anchor, to hold the skin back. I just don’t find this a relevant point. Like the obviously edited castle rock video. We have to stop chasing squirrels.
