The source owners look like ISPs and any hacker worth his weight in salt would know how to cover his own IP. Even a VPN can achieve that.
Edit: One other thing I noticed. It has been stated that there were servers in Germany and Italy but when I looked at the video, I didn't see that reflected on the map.
The Leonardo satellite trsnsmissions were described as running through the SCYTL server in Frankfurt, which was indeed shown to be active on the Tracer maps.
That is one example of an untraceable or covered hack.
