MANY people consider it a conservative-data collection honey pot. Mercer doesn't care about the message that's carried, only the collection of your data - and people think it's for nefarious purposes.

I have no direct knowledge of who actually owns Parler but everything I reads seems to indicate that Mercer CONTROLS it.
