Ur right hand throughout history was ur weapon hand. That's why we shake hands to show we r without weapon and there in peace. The left hand is ur beauty hand most people r right handed so the left hand was the hand for ur shield or protection it is why we have that hand as wedding ring hand because it's used less and symbolizes unity and protection.
