I worked for BOA for a few years and was shocked by this. I wasn't to close my account but it is so hard to change my direct deposit with th VA.

Son in law had pretty easy time switching VA to USAA. Maybe check it out. BOA was a big culprit in the 2008 housing foreclosure mess.
