You just learned this last night? You don't know anything about Alan Dershowitz? Alan is a Democrat lawyer, yes. But Alan believes in the Constitution; therefore, he believes in the law. He is a rarity among Democrats who want to abolish our Constitution and thus our laws.
Alan is a good man. The left tried to implicate him in Epstein Island. He answered with the truth, and because they had no proof to refute what he said, the left actually backed down without offering more lies. They may fear Dershowitz as an insider who knows their games more than they fear President Trump.
Just because he is moving towards the Republican side of things it somehow means close Epstein associates are white hat now? No way. Unlike Trump, who hung out with Epstein to gather preparatory intel on the deep state, Dershowitz is probably just a creep who liked Epstein's teenagers.
Yes, I see that he represented Epstein an served on OJ's team. I have worked with many attorneys, and when I worked in the public defender's office, one of the reasons that caused me to quit that job and work in private office was the day I was ordered to return the child porn evidence released by the courts back to the man who had been convicted of child porn. But the lawyers who were my friends knew they were/are the balance in the system. I'd hate to be arrested for something I didn't do and have no defense. I saw great attorneys get good people out of jail. We have famous cases in our county in which dogs were used, and I worked for the very attorneys who showed that the dogs were a ruse and people were wrongfully convicted. I saw public defenders work tirelessly to keep people off death row, and I was once tossed an appellate brief and told to file it immediately because the attorney wanted the child killer to die ASAP--a man who went into a little girl's window, took her out of the house, raped and murdered her. Death cases involve appeal after appeal.
I understand a bit of why criminal defense lawyers do what they do. They are not Perry Mason. They do represent guilty clients. Some do it for the money. Some do it because they believe in equal justice. Whatever his reasons, one cannot deny Dershowitz is a talented and successful lawyer. Otherwise, he would not be where he is today.
