I didn’t realize how weird it all is that we’re wearing masks in public.
For the first time in almost a year I went in publish and held my head up high wearing no mask.
We got many stares and glances.
In the end we were ratted out by another customer who pointed at us and said “They should be wearing masks!” An employee asked us to put our masks on and we complied (we were in line checking out).
We all need to start doing this. Civil disobedience.
I never wear/wore a mask. Anywhere. Any time anyone has ever said anything to me, It's always a civilian and I typically ignore them unless they're uppity about it, then I aggressively tell them to mind their business and then I, or they, usually walk away. I've only ever had one employee has ever asked me curiously and earnestly if anyone has ever asked me to put one on, and I've told them no. I've been offered a mask by an employee once too, and I just said "No thanks, but I appreciate you asking" -- No compliance. They cannot force you to wear one, if you believe they can, you lost. I've crossed paths with local and state LEOs in public, they never say anything.
