exactly, understand T38's & Tex2's are training aircraft. Daily training at Columbus AFB, (MS), Laughlin AFB (TX), Randolph AFV (TX) and several other bases. It is not uncommon for other aircraft to squawk as a trainer. i.e. fighters have been know to do this for intelligence purposes.

Rule #1, Don't make a new thread about planes if you've not studied the sky for a month so you know what is common and uncommon.
Rule #2, Don't post if you aren't aware that the military often have planes in the air for training, exercises and everyday peacetime operations.
