When/if the CB is taken down, if our money becomes backed by gold again. What happens to our federal reserve notes, what happens to inflation/deflation. Will the value of a dolllar be the same or will it take a wheelbarrow full of cash to buy a loaf of bread

Not sure on this myself. Our country would be over if our money is worthless. That means the whole world would also fall.
It already is worthless, 40% of all USD was printed in the last year and they're on about spending 6T this year.
I've never had much set back but I've been trying to put a little extra into silver. Physical silver. That way if notes go belly up, I should at least be able to buy a few loaves while I dig a bread garden.
I've heard that all money within the states will be unchanged. US Dollars kept offshore, however, might be affected and even worthless. I would guess that if this is true, there will be a warning allowing people to bring their money back into the country

Well somewhere there is a Rumpelstiltskin type character sitting on an accumulation of world assets going back centuries. This character who wears red shoes and a white frock dress, will no longer need his treasures and they will be brought back into the ownership of the people of the world.
I’m guessing that along the way some markets that may have been manipulated in favour of the banker for example fine wine auctions, race horse breeding and the double digit growth of vintage automobiles may be restructured to a normality in keeping with the people.
