Confront the teacher through a PTA meeting or something. Go straight to the principal. Complain. Try to find other parents like you. Do you attend a church you can use as a resource to find like-minded people?
My son is almost 5 and I'm trying to fight this exact thing right now. I'm telling him now that "Daddy knows more than teacher". He's in a good private Christian school now but that might change soon (though I'm trying to not let that happen).
The only way I've been able to make any progress with my wife is to share with her that we must take a stand for our son's future not ours. She's not even fully on board. It's really hard.
It's doubly hard when loved ones won't even listen to another point of view or contrary information.
Your judgment aside, you're misunderstanding me. I'm building a foundation in his mind. Whether he goes to a private Christian school or not. There only time that sentence from me wouldn't really apply is if he can be homeschooled.

Remind him he's not doing anything wrong.
"Daddy knows more than the teacher".. That then raises the question of why "Daddy" is sending a kid to be taught by people who know so little.
