Also it's one of the tenets of counter insurgency warfare. Controlling the media. Also part of it is to bring a population to the point of choosing a legitimate government vs a usurpation.

What if everything you have seen on both sides was controlled for the past 4 years by Trump team. All to bring to light what was shrouded in darkness for so many years.
