I wasn't on GA much before Jan 6, but spent a lot of time on TDW. Many hours of my day were spent pushing back on dozens of handshakes making ridiculous comments about how they are going to go Rambo if needed on Jan 6. It took me a while to realize that I was debating a cluster of handshakes and a couple actual pedes.
On Jan 6, I was on the lawn towards the top. Never left pavement. Talked a number of people out of going into the building with very simple logic. That is one of the most secure buildings in America! if it's that easy to get in, something is wrong. There was a pasty-white effeminate early 20s "male" and a very full-figured 20 something female holding a TDW sign and encouraging fools to climb up the wall. A strategically placed fake patriot was directing people stupid enough to climb the wall, but too fat, weak or whatever, to make it up towards the stairs.
The "cops" formed a barrier guarding some very nice shrubbery, but were otherwise not hindering dumbasses and plants from "seizing" the building.
Two of my friends left the speech early and were there when the breach occurred. They went in. Both were already tracked down by alphabet-types. Over a dozen high res photos of their unauthorized tour were captured. Both had 6 documented cell pings at various locations. Both are facing charges - one felony, one misdemeanor. Everyone is responsible for their own choices, but discernment is really important. The agitation campaign prior to Jan 6 on TDW was an organized info war complete with shills holding TDW signs at the event.

Yeah, I remember that too over at TDW. Also people like Alex Jones was saying this is "1776" again on his shows prior to the 6th. So that got people riled up too.
I was there at the capital as well, I kept looking for Trump because he said he was going down, and I just remember thinking like WTF are we suppose to do lol. People were climbing the walls and stuff, just glad I didn't go in.
I also remember one or two people getting arrested the day before in DC for having guns. So you think security would have been crazy at the capital.
At one point, I picked up chatter on my walkie talkie. I could swear I heard "bring them up to the second floor!" but it had a lot of static and there were at least 4 groups on the same channel.
In any case - total setup and really poorly executed one at that.
