I've seen/gotten replies that ask for something to be explained that can easiy be found with a DDG search. Not to be rude, but I direct people to do their own research first - and honestly why would you 1) want to be spoon fed and 2) believe something a stranger on the web told you? In this age of disinformation, I think it's critical for individuals to find enlightenment through research and education, then come forward to validation/clarifcation/further discussion. Please correct me if I'm wrong and I'll consider an alternative approach. Many thanks.

Agreed.
I'd feel dumb myself if I were to just ask people to spoon-feed me information.
I particularly enjoy mocking the ELI5 (explain like I'm 5 years old) bullshit.
Most of the people that say that are actually an insult to the average 5 year old, and even that sort of explanation would be beyond their own limited comprehension.
