Gee only took over a year for them to admit this...something real science proved over and over
Ten billion dollars to China too late. Even they put a disclaimer on their paper masks that they won't prevent Coronavirus.
now what if u sweat on your mask and its soaked from working in it all day. i bet its below 5%
Do you know the title of the article or a link that isn't IG?
Thank you

Thank you!
Not settled. For this to be true it would mean any mask is always unsafe. I think the meter is not designed to respond quickly to the changes from inhaling/exhaling.
Honestly you really believe what you wrote? The meter tripped almost immediately. You're re-breathing your exhaled toxins as well. We breathe, sweat, piss and crap out bad stuff.
Go to 5:50 and watch as he removes the probe from under his mask, into the room air. The alarm keeps sounding until he manually resets it. While the probe is in 20% oxygen, the alarm is still sounding.
So yes, I really believe what I said, this video does not prove anything. Maybe the oxygen levels do fluctuate rapidly. Maybe this probe isn't the right tool.
Irrelevant.
After one breath the oxygen levels drops. At some point equilibrium is reached, but it is at a level below recommended, which causes hypoxia and acidosis of the blood.
Where is your evidence that equilibrium is reached? When you breath in, are you breathing in a larger volume than the mask contains? If so, where is THAT air coming from? What is the oxygen content of that air?
My god you're dumb.
Yeah, the amount of stupidity in this experiment is shocking. I fucking hate masks but I am not scared they will suffocate me. The volume of air that moves through the mask with each breath is much greater than the volume of air in the mask. People act like the masks are 'storing' much more air between breaths than in reality.
I do agree that someone with weaker lungs or someone who takes smaller breaths could be affected by lower o2 levels since less fresh air is exchanged in proportion to the volume of the mask. But those would have to be some pretty shallow breaths (Children).
Misinformation spreads quickly with confirmation bias. Hell, the fact that your comment has a negative vote only verifies the blind bias. haha
Thanks for pointing out the truth
Uuugghh. Looks like you'll be joining me in getting some negative votes. Oh well.
It's just so sad this video is getting attention on this site.
If you are in the trades that work around dust all the time, you would actually know the reason the studies of these masks exist.
And then Fauci wants 2 or 3 masks....
Check your blood O2 level with and without the mask on. I'll do it as soon as I get home and report back.
Because you only wear a mask for Covid.....O2 meter? Lol shill. If you had any real idea of how I’m Organs masks are, instead of talking out your Covid arse, you would know OSHA requires masks to be personally fitted, and these workers wear them for 8 hours at a time.... So fine....wear your I’ll-fitting mask for 8 hours, and let me know...
Oh....glad you joined 27 days ago....
"Disagree with me = Shill"
THX for the input Professor
You are welcome....next time do some research....
Disagree? You are opining without any substantiation......get some scientific data and we can discuss....
Shill: : one who acts as a decoy, serves as a promoter. <—You are here
Wow, the basic concept of reduced oxygen escapes this person, to the point of reducing the experiment to a suffocation experiment.
Check your blood O2 level with and without the mask on. I'll do it as soon as I get home and report back
Did you notice his meter had to be reset multiple times to stop alarming even when the probe is back in 20% oxygen environment? My point is that this video does not prove you are breathing in low oxygen air. If anything it does prove you are exhaling lower oxygen air but that's about it.
Here's a study that measured peripheral oxygen saturation levels before, during, and after wearing a mask. See Table 2. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2772655
Theres plenty of reasons not to like masks. But this video is not one of them.
