This trial itself is impossible, having a senator preside over it is impossible, but they're doing it. They DON'T have 67 senators to convict, they know they're not going to get 67. They wouldn't be going this far with all this just to let it all blow up in their faces.

So, you think they’ll change the required number live? No, that’s absolutely impossible. These are things you have to do in advance.
If they have to. They can get five or six GOP senators easily enough. They'll trumpet the "conviction" vote as "bipartisan".
