I hope it will be a case of once the trial starts Trump will need to defend 2 things that a) he incited the capitol storming through his speech that day and b) it was his lying and refusal to admit he lost the election fair and square that caused people to storm the capital. Best way to show he didn’t incite violence through his speech that day would be the proof it was pre planned and a set up and then prove the election was stolen.
