That’s all they ever do, blame Trump. I am sorry to say this, but one man doesn’t hold power over my cognitive abilities. I don’t blindly follow someone.. truth be told, much of my feelings on things in the past few years weren’t Trump saying or doing anything directly at all.

• i watched CNN and other news sources continually belittle him and smear him and headlines that didn’t match the actual article got me questioning why they were so adamant about making him the villain. It wasn’t Trump saying “fake news” that made me think the news was bias... it was the fact I can literally read and see opinions pushed as news; I can compare and contrast and see notable bias. Trump didn’t make me do that. The media did.
• Questioning the election: Trump didn’t cause me to wonder if things weren’t on the up and up. When you start hearing first hand accounts, testimonies, videos, etc.. it provides all the credibility I need. And actually, it was when HC and JOE BIDEN started pushing the narrative that Trump won’t concede and don’t concede to him the night of that made me wonder if they were setting up for all this to happen.. again. Not Trump.
• I also feel that a large portion of the people who attended the rally the day of Jan 6th didn’t do so simply because a Trump said to.. they are (as am I) truly truly concerned what the Democrats will do the next four years.. we saw prior to the election the calls for ending the fillibuster, adding Supreme Court seats, giving statehood to DC and abolishing the electoral college.. all things that give Dems unlimited power and decrease the likelihood of there ever being a conservative President and since the Dems are aligning more and more extreme left.. this felt like a last stand for most of us.. again, Trump didn’t encourage those feelings.. Democrats and the media fawning over Biden and his policies and the rhetoric of liberals concerned me more than Trump inspired me.. I love him., I think he was an excellent president who faced the harshest criticism, complete and total bias and an unprecedented pandemic that shut down the world.. he did great things.. but he wasn’t my driving force for how I’ve felt the past three/four years.
