Take a step back. Turn it off. Refuel your faith. Refresh your happiness in the little things that make you smile. We will hold the line while you rest for a bit. Take as much time as you need. God will have the last word on his own time and we will be here waiting for you when you come back.
I've been watching old Beavis and Butthead episodes a lot lately. For exactly the reason that you mentioned.
And, if you want to follow my advice, please pick the episodes that include the videos. The shows feel gutted without them and they are a trove of rare videos from back when everything wasn't prepackaged formulaic garbage. I forgot how experimental music videos used to be. Oh, and there's shitloads of "symbolism" that stands out more in those videos knowing what i know now.
I have 100% faith that God wins. I share this faith with everybody in my circle who will listen.
But I’m not gonna lie; there are moments when the very seriousness of this entire situation weighs me down. This is when I know I need to step back and take a minute to recharge.
