I signed the declination form for it. Which was advised by my coworkers and manager as well. I just don’t trust it. Not enough research or time. Got an email today that they will be requiring us to get it now or we can’t work there. This pisses me off. This is the hospital I’ve wanted to work at for a long time. Great people. Smaller community based hospital. Now I have to decide to take my forced upon chances with the vaccine. Or leave. I’m not a happy camper right now.

Obviously I’ll leave.. but I’m assuming if a small community based hospital is being given federal funding to force the vaccine then any healthcare options will be following behind shortly. I love what I do. I love my patients. I love my job. It just sucks.
We appreciate your taking a stand. Your body and the future of your family depend on this very difficult decision. May you be blessed 10 fold!
Are your coworkers taking this? If all of you stood together and said no they'd be fucked
42% have. The rest of us have been thinking of every angle.
IMO if 58% you all stood firm there's no way they could replace that amount of staff
Actually you’d be surprised how easily replaceable we are. Especially CNAs.. I’m a nursing student. But CNAs are easy to come by.
