IF this was an attempt to destroy/flood the tunnels, it wouldnt be to kill people, it would be a way to prevent people from escaping. does anyone else find it odd that the capitol building is surrounded by military and fencing with razorwire facing outward, AND tunnels possibly being compromised? seems like an attenpt to keep people in.
now in my opinion, this wasnt meant to destroy those tunnels, they serve a purpose and im sure they were very expensive to install/maintain. it wouldnt make sense to destroy them.
but imagine you are a politician in dc, are you gonna wanna take a risk using the tunnels after a major underground gas explosion? i wouldnt.
i do not wish any ill will on any politicians, including democrats, but i think my hypothesis makes more sense, to me at least....

gas explosion in the sewer
This happens in NYC with some regularity.
Before we all go off the rails about tunnels and children, ask yourself, would Trump have left that festering beneath him at the WH for four years?
