The thing is, every one of us 'underlings' who work (have worked) in a nursing home through even ONE flu season knew this situation was all effed up. From housekeeping to dietary to nursing. But our voices aren't heard beyond the walls.
If they truly wanted to manage this 'event' effectively, all they needed to do was put a nursing home infection control nurse in charge Anyone who has experienced this will be nodding in agreement.
Picture in your mind footsteps on the stair well, darth vader music playing, then nurses & aides darting into the nearest available room. Hiding from the ICN who will probably catch you breaking protocol or quiz you on the latest cdc updates, lol.
