What happens when/if they make the minimum wage $15... and make it enforceable? And once we start to see the effects of that? Note I work for a smaller family owned business... they looked at me and said out right "none of us have really thought about that, but you make more than that"... though yes I do make over 15 its not much over, and assuming the effects are what they seem they will be... my wage will no longer be a comfortable living wage(hell it's barely a comfortable wage now).. so basically I was just told a cost of living increases hasn't even been considered and I'm going to go from earning a decent wage to a nearly unlivable wage. (Note: my position consists of multiple different duties that I've never met another single person able to do all three. Not bragging I just know my worth it would take two if not 3 people to replace me).

More importantly, a lot of union work wages are tied to the minimum wage. So when that goes up, so do their wages. Think of all of the public sector unions in particular. Notice how unions are always pushing for increases in the minimum wage? It's not out of caring for entry level workers.
