The freemasons are the old guard. Since there isn't much to be guarded anymore, they just sit around and raise money for new chairs or children's hospitals. Many have forgotten the purpose of the rituals and have gone back to being hoodwinked and bare-chested.

That being said, there are other similar organizations who are charged with keeping the knowledge alive. Now, the secrets are widely known, but few understand and accept them.
