There is nothing in the Constitution that says impeachment means unable to hold office in the future according to Mark Levin. The 14th amendment was specifically for Confederates after the Civil War. I have my doubts the Senate has the authority to criminally convict President Trump of insurrection. It would have to go to a regular court or military tribunal. While the DOJ may be able to finagle something via corrupt judges, it would undoubtedly go to the Supreme court and i do jot believe as feckless as they are they would not let it pass
