While not the original intent, certainly a plausible unintended consequence. Or they realized it’s a good reason to keep masks going forever in addition to making it easier for body doubles and lip syncing brain dead morons like PEDOTUS.

Since we saw that maks really didn't have that big of an impact in stopping the pandemic, I think they were a great "help" to people that used this pandemic for their dirty ways.
