That was not the right venue and the democrats would just hut it down. The important thing to do during the impeachment was to to get Trump acquitted, they aren't just impeaching and trying to remove his eligibility for fun. They want to take his power as commander and chief for when he is reinstalled as the rightful winner or the 12thA is used, otherwise the power would go to Pence and that would not be a win.
