I've filed patents before for work and the process could take several years, but before the patent is published, you're given the chance to revise it to add additional materials. In this case, it's highly plausible that a patent was started before COVID19 and then amended to include COVID19 during the pandemic but before the publication of the patent. This is very plausible here. Unless we see the drafts and iterations, I still have some doubts about the claims here. It is a good find though
