Just checked it out. Sorry, as a 40 year born again Christian, your sub is not for me. If I'm not allowed to call out blasphemy on something said that is completely anti Biblical and am just to love everyone on there, then what's the point? Why would I encourage people to believe half truths or outright lies by being all sugary sweet to everyone? The Gospel is supposed to be offensive to get someone to look at their sins. Talking in platitudes about God loving evryone is not helpful. And from the comments I saw, many agree with me. Good luck to you.
It's not it's how u go about it. U can state ur beliefs 100% but people dont balance that. They get to I know best like they are the keepers of God. GOD is bigger than one person. Just like some of ur views or my views might be wrong there is a way to talk to people. We can love and respect but still help and change people. What good is it to just shout ur beliefs at someone. U dont help God by just attacking with ur beliefs.
And I'm glad u read the comments o suggest u dig deeper into my past post and read all of them. People agree on love respect and not FORCING ur beliefs. Which of these r u not able to do and still share Gods word. Cause I can do all 3 perfectly and still teach God

Because I'm not gonna allow that and I'm pretty sure the other core group on there isnt either. I fight every day to keep this sub proper. The mods aren't gonna let shills here but we cant keep out atheist that might be seeking.but I believe if we report the typical shill atheist that the mods would act. But the rules are love respect and not forcing your beliefs. So I guess the only promise I can make to u is I personally will fight with my whole heart to keep that from happening. You would be a great help though
No the reddit one is literally run by atheist, their top mod or owner w/e is an atheist, he said so himself. Also I am extremely Orthodox and sometimes things I say Prots do not like.

Oh I am just really into theology and debate it a lot, sometimes people dislike the truth even though they agree with it but by a different way of describing it. I'd probably refrain from going there, there's a lot of things that are "Christian" but not Christian at all. Examples are Her Church part of the ELCA, ordination of women as "priests" ordination of homosexuals as "priests" (the ones who try to twist the scripture to make it say same sex relationships are okay or others sex outside marriage is okay) I saw a lot of that on the reddit sub which is probably my biggest grief. Worst one I saw was something like God spoke to me and told me it's okay to be gay and then they proceeded to talk about how God is okay with their homosexual relationships. (God isn't okay with it because 1.) Marriage is only between a man and a woman and 2.) It's very clear homosexuality isn't okay in the Bible).
Okay I will get off my rant, sorry!
I'm fighting to build a foundation formed from the holy spirit. With loving people that are patient with people. I feel if we build that up then God will protect it and not allow it to become trashed by things. I will always talk peacefully and respectfully to people and allow God to take control
Ok u sound pretty well balanced. So let me ask u this. Dont they have a right to talk about there views to. It's like saying people that are dying shouldnt get hospital care and love because its over. I want a place where someone can come and share stuff like that and loving respectful people can lead them back home to us. But telling someone there sin is wrong very rarely if ever works out. People have a hard time changing if they dont have a foundation to guide them while they re evaluate there own ways. I'm sure the mods know all about how christianity gets taken over and stuff like that we could just thread or something make it condensed. That way they can speak and be heard and have people discuss what the bible says. But u have to start with love. Just like u said u have kinda out there views or what ever ur words r. None of us get it 100% right. But we can still love the soul hate the sin trapped inside. But the Christian church needs to get a back bone and realise love conquers all. Imagine this someone come here with that exact example
I'm a Christian and I care about this board. But were at a point in history where we can create something new and amazing. Part of that is making this sub a place for the sinners the sick and the troubled to come learn the love and bliss of our God.
We all fall short of the glory of God
I'm an Orthodox Christian, I follow the Bible and what is biblical, things like women being "ordained" isn't (this is actually what a priestess is and they worship a false god)relationships that are sexual outside of marriage are not biblical also, as well marriage is only between a man and a woman, anything else isn't biblical. It isn't about attacking a person, although a lot of them see it that way they don't like particular things that call them out which in reality it isn't calling them specifically out its saying this life style is wrong or this thing goes against the bible. So to have something like that in a Christian sub really defeats the purpose of it being Christian. I think its fine if someone comes and says I am suffering from x y and z sins and I need help, but not to say well God showed me Christianity through homosexuality and homosexual relationships are glorifying God!

Do u debate or do u argue. Debate is talking back and forth about a topic and standing up for one side. Argue is talking and standing up for Your side. Some will just plant seeds other will water. But we need a place for people to come to learn how to talk to each other again about religion and God

I don't do religion because it inevitably hinges around a book (variously called "Koran" or "Bible"), which ardent followers are indoctrinated to believe is "the word of God", rather than a mish mash of papers, selectively put together by committees with political agendas.

Yes u are so right so let's take Christianity back. I'm not afraid to stand alone while the troops gather but were changing the world and our religion. This board and the sub r my passion now. I'm determined to follow through with what the holy spirit is putting in my heart. People just need to learn how to .win again as Christian's. CHRIST died for all of us. We should all be Standing and taking back what is his. I ask that u join me friend and cast away that bitterness and walk in love with me.
