Animals are tagged, managed, caged and dosed and chipped without their consent, and slaughtered for their hides or meat when the time is ripe.

That this is even up for debate for humans is an abomination with no real distinction from a full return to slavery and people being owned property. If the mere traumatic memory of slavery is sufficient to destroy statues that are centuries old, how about actual slavers get staked out in the sun and are left to be eaten by ants while their demise is livestreamed.
