Arne Sorenson was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer in 2018 and had been fighting hard. His cancer combined with the worst year ever for the hotel business due to covid took its tool. this one is just coincidence and timing. Romney is friends with Bill Marriott via the mormon conecction yes but Arne was CEO
