BOOMS! Has anyone heard any unexplained LOUD BOOM sounds, sometimes a super bright flash just above the ground prior to the BOOM? Happened here tonight where I live, sounded like it was under and behind my house... went out to look, no damage, nothing was visible that it even happened, so I looked it up and found a load of the same thing all over the US and world. What are the odds that transformer boxes are going to blow left and right in an ice-storm?
No ice storm in Mesa Arizona. Plus a transformer blowing doesn't produce a single quick flash of light. The light is more sustained. Btw, there are recent videos of transforms blowing due to the ice storm. They are very different.
There was also a small meteorite that burned up in the atmosphere over the US. It was bright, and went bang, but wasn't big enough for the boom to blow out windows (like the one in Russia a few years back).
I've seen three exploding meteors. The flash they made looks very much like the flash of light seen in some of the videos, both in color and intensity envelope.
