They don't. That's why they think they way they do. It's reactionary to them. Their morals depend on whether it happens to them, personally, or not. It's called Passive-Agressive behavior, and is the reason why the West Coast is being burnt to the ground by Antifa/BLM.
Yeah I think this particular headline is a bit exaggerated if you look at the questions that were asked and how the responses were recorded.
"Additionally, 31% of teens and young adults “strongly agree” that what is “morally right and wrong changes over time, based on society,” compared to just 25% in 2018. Another 43% agree 'somewhat.'"
I think the "somewhat" crowd is the key here, since it's such a vague answer. Still trending in the wrong direction, which is a concern.
Well bud look, this may be difficult for you to understand... But, the entire last 2-3 generations (prob more, but the last 2-3 have certainly seen the most) have been subject to a massive amount of brainwashing. It's a hell of a rabbit hole. Being a millennial myself, I can tell it's happening. All those symbols and shit you see on kids shows and in media/pop culture? Yeah, those aren't just for fun or to say "hey we are one of them". Honestly most people who haven't been through the brainwashing will find it hard to understand just what is possible.
Don't forget these people also started to get their hands into our education system, swearing to cut federal funds if schools didn't teach x y or z. There's more going on than anyone realizes.
This is the problem when you remove God and his law from society. God's word never changes, if you actually read the King James that is. So as society changes and removes the bible from all aspects of life, what do you use to decide your morality, and acceptable behavior? If it isn't founded on the rock of Gods Word, then you are founding it on shifting sands. 50 Years ago if you had said sodomy and filthy pervert pedophiles would literally be parading down the street, in front of children, they would have thrown you into a mental asylum, like that did with all the filthy faggots. But now? Perversion and filth abound in society, because there is no stability with the shared beliefs of society.
Morality is changeable. I know most people believe that it stands for good, right, and just, but it really stands for what society believes those virtues equal. If a society decides that killing kittens for lunch meat is good, then a person who does that is a moral person.
Morality is just what a community or society decide it is, which could be anything.
I know it is hard to digest and I was equally surprised but it is true. Very important to know this distinction and what a slippery slope it is. Morality can be anything people decide it to be.
What I find interesting is that despite knowing these companies make up poll results on the fly, we take them on blind faith every time they say "Poll shows __% of young adults believe ______".
Sure the real number is probably way too high but I'll bet it's closer to 50 than 74%, and shrinking fast as they age.
Scientist evotards actually say that there is nothing moral about life itself basically saying nothing is sacred we are the equivalent of a rock since they believe rocks made DNA by chance
I’m not convinced they know what “Morality” is. Sad.
Yep. Going to need less syllables in the word choice.

Since when do we trust polls?

Exactly. And to add on to that, the premise of the question isn’t really that insane.
We know God is responsible for what is objectively morally right and wrong in our world, HOWEVER, society’s views absolutely change over time.
What our current society consider “morally good” would be shat on by the puritans.

I have no problem elieving this. I could make up a number Nd probably be close.

Yup. Those who have anger of the heart are of evil.
