People who think HAARP tickling the ionosphere with radio-waves can alter the weather have no idea how BIG the atmosphere is, and how much energy it takes to do anything.

A nuclear mushroom-cloud is smaller than the average thunderhead, and liberates less energy. (It just does it in a tenth of a second instead of spread out over an hour.)
