Just wondering if there was a plan back then to rid the world of them. Its just a random thought I was having today.

Not sure which 5 u mean. But this may be interesting. During a tour of the Biltmore in Asheville, we were told that George & Edith Vanderbilt were supposed to be on the Titanic but cancelled shortly before voyage.
