Exit hole small due to lack of tissue to mushroom the bullet. A grazing shot would have bled more and a more full on shot would have been visibly devastating. There would be c-spine damage and displaced tissue and arterial spray at the very least. And judging the shooters angle, the projectile may have penetrated to wall on the victims side of the door which it did not.
