We have a engineered virus, engineered brainwashing, in order to engineer an election. Been fighting engineered enemies for decades. Now they seem to be engineering the damn weather as well. Yeah its a fucking lot to take in guys! It's easier to lie to someone than to convince them they've been lied to. Slowly, they will come around. Drip drip.

It turns out you don't have to be particularly smart to be an intellectual. You just have to learn how to speak the language. And it's not like learning a foreign language - it's all done in the native tongue with a few foreign words sprinkled in.
I was speaking of "intellectuals" as seen and heard in the liberal elitist groups and MSM. And of course they are going to tell anyone who follows them they are smart for doing so. So those "followers" you speak of are getting their egos stroked and the beliefs they've been taught for years reinforced. Double whammy. So in that sense you are correct, sir.
That's just a derision tactic. It doesn't work if you either ignore it or throw it back at them. What happens next is an emotional freakout and attack, at which point they've made a fool of themselves and you get to tell them that.
I think if you stand on facts, and aren't condescending about it, things will work out in the end. And if not, it wasn't going to happen anyway. I like to be able to point to things that are hard to argue - i.e. if you go to the CDC website, and look up ....
They usually won't do it, but it's another chink in their armor.
My freshman year in college, there were 2 journalism students in my dorm. Both dumber than a box of rocks. Had plenty of time to party, and still got good grades. Knowing who they are graduating from college into the MSM ranks tells you all you need to know about the MSM, and anyone who follows them without questioning everything they report. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to point that out either - which I could from personal experience. Everyone should find their own examples, and students of history can find plenty (just need to avoid revisionist history written long after the people involved or have knowledge of the events have passed away).
