I'm not USING CHRISTIANS to BAIL OUT a "social media" company. I'm drawing parallels between what he said and the two groups of people it directly affects but let's look at it from your point of view ....
Has Fakebook and Twatter been linked to pedophilia?
That's an astounding, "hell yeah".
Why won't Christians migrate from Fakebook?
In my wife's case, because the kids post shit on Fakebook way before they call about it. We would have missed my granddaughter's 2nd birthday if she wasn't on Fakebook because that's where the baby's mother posted the announcement and ASSUMED everyone would see it. No phone call or text.
What's the solution?
Become active in building a platform to replace it.
So yes ... every muddah lovin, red blooded, American should support Gab because of the free speech but there are a few of us ... special interest groups ... that should make it a priority before we have no voice.
The solution would be to build a stronger relationship so that they do call you for events like that. You’re just putting a bandaid on the real problem, which is a weak relationship, between a mother and daughter no less.
So in your eyes only certain forms of communication equate to a strong relationship?
My mother lives hundreds of miles away, so I speak to her on the phone several times a week. She also posts photos on facebook a couple of times a week which I check out and comment on. I'm grateful for the ability to do both.
I would prefer to use Gab for photo sharing, to support a Christian-run platform rather than a satanic-run one. But in terms of relationship, facebook is my only way to stay up to date with my mother's photos, and those photos are a positive part of our relationship, just as our phone calls are.
Hopefully in the long term more and more people will migrate to Gab, though.
Bullshit but thanks for projecting your home life onto mine ... she isn't even our daughter and our son now lives in another state ... It's not that she didn't call us, it's that she thought to call nobody.
She made some sort of event of Facebook and just expected people to see it ... they communicate differently.

Very wells said, thank you.

Ok, let me re-phrase the last sentence since you missed the point....
Why is that? You can change that. If you don’t want to, fine.
God forbid you actually build a relationship with your not daughter.
