We found out yesterday that he has pneumonia. Once I found that out I went and got him from that ER. Today we find out he’s negative for covid. Am I overreacting for wanting to contact administrators for possibly causing harm to my father? He had BACTERIAL pneumonia and they forced 2 masks on him while short of breath. I’m more livid than before knowing he doesn’t have Covid.

I would contact the administration and see what if any their reaction is. Do it in writing or record any calls you make. I have done this several times at the local hospital when being treated poorly in their ER years ago. Suggest to them that every person that walks through the door is allowed to have at least one person/advocate with them. This is minimum because you must not go alone, they can do so many things and you won't even know it if you have no one else there with you. Use the term "healthcare advocate" because even though you may not have experience in the healthcare field, you are still better than no one with your father.
