Mals are generally dysplasia free. Not that it doesn't happen, but far more common in GSDs, largely due to overbreeding and oversizing.
I also noticed that Xiden's GSD is showing signs of lateral myelopahty (sp) - the back legs are starting to drag a bit. My last GSD had it - so sad. Eventual inability to use rear legs.

I have a young malanois and I know she's going to suffer hip issues later in life
