Who's to say the trip wasn't planned months ago, and just happened to coincide with a bad week of weather? Maybe he had the trip planned before his schedule got busy? Wealthy people take trips. Why is it because the state was in a storm, does he have to cancel his affairs when there is a governor and lt. Govenor who are supposed to be in charge of state affairs? The senators speak for the people on the senate level... not lobby for an emergency declaration.? That belongs with the governor. But hey, let's harp on like the left wants us to, with their agenda....
