I am confused. WHY IS THIS A GOOD THING?

"A Brave New World" is a dystopian novel about the future written in 1932. Here we are reading all the clues and bread crumbs and such a blatant crumb as that and everyone takes it at face value? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brave_New_World
