This is a pretty significant period of what could easily be considered “darkness”. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?

That has been my thought from the beginning of this storm. I live in Northeast Texas & I had ice on trees since Thursday the 11th. I had one tree literally bend from the ice on the 11th when temps was 28°. It got to -3° one night. Lucky for us we only lost power on the 11th for 2 hours. My kids live in Dallas & they had no power for days & hours at a time. I've wondered if this was the 10 days of darkness. We've been prepared for months, not knowing what was gonna happen. When they were putting out videos a month ago about martial law, we stepped it up & bought a generator, kept our vehicle full of gasoline & had gallons Of gasoline & water set aside. I'm also beginning to think the white hats sent out misinformation about martial law to prepare us for a dark winter. How is it northern states survive cold winters every year & we survive 100 plus temps every year with our electricity?
Good theory about dark winter.
