Texas blackouts a result of unreliable “green” energy?

Wow. I had no idea. Yeah, hydro seems much better than wind. Solar is too unreliable.
But in the end we need a RANGE of production mechanisms. Coal being the most reliable is still necessary.
I think this article best encapsulates what went wrong. Basically, the Biden administration is evil. https://www.rightjournalism.com/biden-refused-gov-abbott-s-request-that-he-sign-major-disaster-declarations-for-177-texas-counties-after-refusing-to-allow-texas-power-plants-to-operate-at-100-capacity-resulting-in-massive-power-ou/ The natural gas and coal plants could have cranked up and provided the necessary power, but they would have to create more pollution than allowed by the Federal Government. The Department of Energy would have allowed them to do so, provided they priced it at least 30x (I did the math) of what power normally cost for the additional power generated. Of course this didn't happen as it was too expensive. Nevermind Texans cranking up their own generators creating more pollution than these plants would have created. These people are EVIL.
Edit: The problem wasn't so much the green issues. (I'm not denying them though.) But the fossil fuel energy sources were only allowed to run at 60% of output instead of 100% of output because of environmental impact.
Saw that on MSM. Could be true.
The retarded commies say that fossil fuels caused this and we should have done more green energy, we waited too long. They believe this.
