Supreme Court rules in favor of Christian and Jewish groups who challenged New York's COVID restrictions on religious gatherings, as new Justice Amy Coney Barrett joins 5-4 majority in her first public vote.
Okay, she did ONE thing on a rather basic and straightforward case of "hey, people can still go to church." Obviously the right choice, but hardly a controversial or difficult one.
Oooooo wow so she did this 1 little thingsbut is tryin to let the fuckin country fall to commie fucks.... Yay acb... Lol useless evil bitch with stolen haitian children i may add.....
Agreed but it sure is a chip away at what’s left of my ice cube of hopium.
After mid March, if nothing noteworthy (not a “hurr durr is happening cuz 15 soldiers in a pic when it says 17 in title”) aka something noteworthy that isn’t simply us seeing what we want to see, but something that ALL sides have to accept (like when Epstein happened for example) if nothing like that happens I feel all may be lost. And even after that date, I’ll prob give 10 days dark for the hell of it and pretend it meant “10 days of dark despair for us having hoped something happens”.
But nearing April, I will have lost all faith/hope and ultimately return to voting 3rd party and ignoring shit.
I halfway think this also. SCOTUS was never the answer; why would we WANT them to kick the can down down the road for 6 months with no guarantee that a ruling would be in our favor. I actually see them turning us down as a good thing.
I know SCOTUS is a sacred cow, but right now they are simply in our way.
This ?

This. I am pretty sure they were all asked under oath whether they promised an action or position on any possible court case.
