Read the whole thing, especially the last few lines. We were not under military control, but Trump has had a relationship with the military that is likely unprecedented among presidents.

POTUS was RECRUITED by military. Q says they serve at the pleasure of the president, which would mean Trump in charge. Also, this wasn't missed. It was very widely discussed when it happened.
