Also, people do consider the concept of vote splitting. And since Trump's party would have more votes, the smaller GOP party voters would basically be forced to vote for the Trump party to stave of the Democrats.
However, a better way to think of this is that 73% of the GOP party is actually Trump's. Way more than half so by most measures, the GOP is Trump's party. If anyone in the GOP has a problem with that, they can leave and start their own party, not the other way around.
If the RINOs have a problem with this, they can go and start their own RINO party which won't even get the above mentioned 27% of GOP votes as I'd bet if you did that survey, it would say:
0% of GOP voters say they would leave the GOP if the RINOs (the pedophile thieves wing of the GOP) started their own party.
